2. MAKE A DONATION TO A PROGRAM
Rather than donate money to individuals on the streets, we suggest that you donate to the organizations that help the homeless or hand out water, socks, shampoo or other useful items.
The Shelters and Resources list on this website shows which shelters and programs accept donations of good used clothing or household or other items.Please call the shelter to see what is needed at this time.All programs are grateful for financial contributions.

Many groups and individuals provide in-kind or temporary support that can prevent someone from becoming homeless or provide assistance during a short period of homelessness.We encourage you to support a group’s effort or get your group involved with the homeless.
4. LEND YOUR EXPERTISE AND TALENT
Coalition member organizations frequently need volunteers, advisors, and board members. Contact the shelter or program and ask to be included in their newsletter or volunteer alerts.
